Now you can get
really sick on this thing, they kindly put large windows on the roof so you can
watch the other townships from above upside down with the earth and moon rolling
around us while the torus moves under us. We are moving contra to the rotation
of the torus, but not fast enough to get past the rotation rate to overcome this
effect.
Confused, well then forget it. Just look out the window.
The glass on the torus and the train are tinted, if you glance straight up
you'll see the glare coming off the ring of mirrors that circles the hub, and
redirects sunlight onto the torus.The sun is stationary directly off to our
side, so we get two shadows here!
